Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar / Jammu Railway Station -Transfer to Katra
Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station, meet and greet by our representative. Start your drive to Katra. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Katra hotel.
Day 2: Katra - Vaishno Devi Darshan - Return to Katra
Early proceed for Vaishno Devi Darshan (28 km). Pilgrims can choose to walk or opt for Pony / Palki / Helicopter services (own cost). After completing the darshan, return to Katra. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 03: Katra - Pahalgam
After an early breakfast leave for Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar. Drive through saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins of an 1100 yr old temple of Lord Vishnu. Drive through the pine forest and along the Lidder River. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam
Day 04: Aru, Betaab Valley & Chandanwari tour
Aru Valley is located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left. Night stay at Pahalgam.
Day 05: Pahalgam to Srinagar – Houseboat
Wake up early and head to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, where the annual Tulip Festival is held. Admire the stunning display of over a million tulips in different colors and varieties. Spend the morning exploring the garden and taking pictures. In the afternoon. Visit the Chashme Shahi Garden, a smaller but equally charming Mughal Garden, situated on a hilltop overlooking the Dal Lake. Spend some time exploring the garden and enjoying its tranquil surroundings. Transfer to Houseboat for Night Stay.
Day 06: Transfer to Hotel and Srinagar local sightseeing
After refreshment at the hotel start your tour to the famous Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ , which was built in the 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in the 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nisa). Overnight in the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 07: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast at the hotel leave for a day excursion to Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts), Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired by its grassy slopes covered with wildflowers. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snowfall. It turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car (optional) offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of the Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. Overnight in the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 08: Departure from Srinagar/Katra / Jammu
Today will be last day of this exotic tour to Srinagar/ Katra /Jammu After having breakfast in the hotel, you will finally be dropped at the railway station or the airport. The tour will end with your drop.
