Day 01: Arrival in Leh Airport and Transfer hotel :
Meet & greet on arrival at Leh Airport. Our representative will assist you with pick-up and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is kept free for acclimatization. You are advised to stay indoors and take complete rest, as proper acclimatization is essential at this altitude. Wearing warm/heavy woollens is recommended. Evening visit to Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace & Leh local Market. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Why acclimatization is mandatory – Leh is at an elevation of 11,500 ft. approximately above sea level. When you scale such heights, your body may not get enough time to adapt to the changing surroundings. Though most people do not experience symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) in Leh. But it is advisable to be cautious and be alert for symptoms of AMS. The most common symptoms of AMS are headache, disturbed sleep, loss of appetite, coughing and irregular breathing. One should avoid smoking tobacco, alcohol and caffeine-based drinks as they dehydrate the body and interfere with the process of acclimatization.
Day 02: Leh local Tour :
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour around Leh. Visit: Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace Druk Padma Karpo School (popularly known as Rancho School) Sindhu Ghat, Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 03: Leh local Tour :
After Breakfast, Visit Indus Valley sightseeing. Visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Lamayuru Monastery & Alchi Monastery. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 04: Leh- Nubra Valley :
After Breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet), Diskit Monastery & enjoy Camel Safari in the evening (Own Cost). Day 05: Turtuk day Trip :
After an early breakfast we drive to Turtuk, Turtuk lies at the extreme corner of the Indian border, and hence its accessibility is a challenge. Although the roads are marred by landslides and shooting stones, the 3-hour drive from Hunder to Turtuk is nothing less than exceptional. Throughout the journey, one has the company of Shayok, as well as the vistas, that define the barrenness which is characteristic to Ladakh. Overnight stay at Hotel in Nubra.
Day 06: Nubra Valley – Pangong :
Early morning visits the most picturesque Disket monastery on the hill top then drive to Pangong it takes around 5 hours to reach. Pangong lake is situated at 13,930 ft. About 4300 mts. Above sea level and is 125 km long, but it is only four km at its widest and extends almost in a straight line, way to Tibet; in fact, only a quarter of the lake is in India. Day 07: Pangong- Hanle :
After breakfast proceed to Hanle (also spelt Anle) is a large historic village in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The village of Hanle comprises six hamlets Bhok, Dhado, Punguk, Khuldo, Naga and Tibetan Refugee habitation —within 1100 sq km Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary in Changthang Plateau. It is the site of the 17th-century Hanle Monastery (gompa) of the Drukpa Kagyu branch of Tibetan Buddhism.Henle is located in the Hanle River valley on an old branch of the ancient Ladakh - Tibet. overnight stay in Hanle.
Day 08: Hanle to Tsomoriri -Leh :
After breakfast, proceed to Tso Moriri Lake, Mahe, Chumthang, Upshi & Puga valley after that travel back to Leh, Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.
Day 09: Departure Leh Airport :
After Breakfast Transfer to Leh Airport to connect your onward Journey with great memories of Kashmir & Ladakh.
